Truck Driver Part Time and Full Time

Trans-Continental Textile Recycling is looking for a physically fit driver with a Class 5 license and knowledge of the Greater Vancouver Area.

Your main duties include driving a 3.5 tonne truck in the Greater Vancouver area picking up clothing from multiple bin sites and ensuring the bin sites are kept clean.

Shift times are flexible and may be tailored to meet your needs. Shift lengths are also flexible ranging from 4 to 8 hours.

Responsibilities of this position:
-Operate a 3.5-tonne truck to pick up clothing bags and to deliver skids of wiping rags
-Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspection on the vehicle
-Load bags of clothes, goods, and merchandise
-Record information on pick-ups and report any incidents or problems encountered
-Clean up around the bin area
-And Other Duties Specified by the Scheduler or Dispatcher

Qualifications:
-Eligible to work in Canada
-Must have a Class 5 Driver’s License
-Must have clean drivers abstract and also submit Driver Factor Report
-2 years of commercial truck driving experience, or equivalent is required

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 35 per week
