Position Overview:
We are looking for a reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you’ll ensure that all plant equipment and systems are running smoothly and efficiently through timely maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.
What You’ll :
- Replace and adjust worn or defective machine parts
- Perform repairs on pumps, conveyors, compressors, rollers, bearings, and hydraulics
- Align and assemble machines using hand and power tools
- Conduct preventive maintenance to reduce unplanned breakdowns
- Interpret blueprints, diagrams, and work procedures for equipment servicing
- Operate tools such as hoists, jacks, micrometers, forklifts, and lathes
- Lubricate and test machinery for proper function
- Assist with equipment installation and mechanical adjustments
- Maintain clean and organized workspaces
- Follow all health and safety guidelines, including lock-out/tag-out procedures
- Report hazards and equipment malfunctions immediately
- Support production teams with troubleshooting when needed
- Perform welding repairs when required
- Other duties as assigned
What We’re Looking For:
- Completion of secondary school
- 3+ years of mechanical maintenance experience in an industrial or production environment
- Forklift certification is an asset
- Welding knowledge is an asset
- Able to lift 25–45 lbs regularly
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Reliable, dependable, and able to work under pressure
- Strong attention to detail and safety

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
