Truck Driver

Trans-Continental Textile Recycling is looking for a physically fit driver with a Class 5 license and knowledge of the Greater Vancouver Area.

Your main duties include driving a 3.5 tonne truck in the Greater Vancouver area picking up clothing from multiple bin sites and ensuring the bin sites are kept clean.

Responsibilities of this position:
-Operate a 3-tonne truck to, among other duties, pick up and deliver clothing bags, clothing bins
-Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspection of the vehicle
-Load bags of clothes, goods, and merchandise into the truck

-Clean up around the bin area
-Record information on pick-ups and report any incidents or problems encountered
-And other duties specified by the Scheduler or Dispatcher

Qualifications:
-Eligible to work in Canada
-Must have a full Class 5 Driver’s License
-Must have clean drivers abstract and also submit Driver Factor Report
-2 years of commercial truck driving experience, or equivalent

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $23.00-$25.00 per hour
