Stewards
IZWTAG thanks all the product stewards who have joined us as Associate Members. IZWTAG is honoured and proud to work in close partnership with the following Product Stewards to deliver important recycling, training and technical services to First Nations:
Interchange Recycling is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the collection and recycling of used oil, filters, antifreeze, diesel exhaust fluid (DEF), and related containers in British Columbia and Yukon. Our programs give residents an easy, eco-friendly, and cost-effective way to return and recycle these materials responsibly.
Product Care are a federally incorporated not-for-profit organization, and provide recycling services across nine Canadian provinces. Product Care encourages individuals and businesses to reduce their waste and reuse when possible, and we provide recycling solutions for post-consumer products.
Major Appliance recycling Roundtable (MARR)
The Major Appliance Recycling Roundtable (MARR) is a not-for-profit stewardship agency created to implement and operate a stewardship plan for end-of-life major household appliances in the province of British Columbia (BC) on behalf of the major appliance “producers” who are obligated under the BC Recycling Regulation. The MARR plan is focused on enhancing the performance and transparency of the existing market-based system of collecting and recycling major household appliances in BC.
