Recycling Attendant

Seldom Silent Enterprises Ltd. has a part time position at our recycling depot in Golden B.C!

Schedule is Fri-Mon 10am-4pm
Training is provided, starting wage of $25/hr

Requirements:

Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.

Must have your own reliable transportation;
Must be able to work independently;
Must be prepared to work in adverse weather conditions;
Good interpersonal skills with the ability to operate as a contributing member of a team.

Duties:

Unlock recycling bins & buildings, place open sign & delineators in designated areas on site. Lock up bins, signs & delineators at end of day.

May be required to move or lift bags of recycling.
Site safety: building, bins and walkways must be clear of hazards at all times (i.e. snow removal and recycling);

Fill out forms (i.e. incident reports) and use communication book to report daily activities or events;

Greet and respectfully provide support and guidance to community members when recycling their items into appropriate bins.

Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 24 per week

Salary: $25.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Every Weekend
• Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Golden, BC V0A 1H2: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Language:

• English (preferred)
