Recycle Centre Site Attendant

GFL Environmental is looking for a Recycle Centre Attendant to join our team in Langley, BC!

 

The Recycling Centre Attendant will be the public face for collecting used oil, antifreeze, paint and household hazardous waste (HHW).

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the initial point of contact for the general public
  • Properly collect used oil, antifreeze, paint, and household hazardous waste and dispose according to company protocols
  • Perform cleaning tasks as assigned
  • Properly collect of documents that record activities or transactions


Requirements:

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to sort and store recycled items
  • Organization skills
