Job Summary/Basic Function
The Glenmore Landfill serves as the solid waste disposal facility for residents within the Central Okanagan Regional District and offers a variety of disposal options on-site including recycling, organic materials, household and commercial waste.

We are currently hiring for part-time Landfill Scale Operators to join our team! In this role you will weigh vehicle loads, collect load fees, direct vehicles to appropriate areas for dumping and provide general information to the public. The successful applicants will be customer-focused, team-players with a passion for, and experience in providing excellent customer service. Computer literacy and cash-handling experience is a must along with the flexibility to work various shifts including weekends. A clear Criminal Record Check will be required.
