We have an opening for Class 3 Truck Drivers with a strong customer service focus. To be considered for this postion, you must have PREVIOUS FRONT END EXPEREINCE. We are looking for extraordinary individuals with great people skills, who like variety in their job and have a passion for the environment. This is a Full-Time position; we are not hiring for a spare board! Previous Front End or Roll Off driving experience is required.

Full Time, Permanent Position 4 x 10 hour shifts, including a Saturday

Job Duties

• Responsible for daily pre and post trip inspections
• Complete an assigned daily route as assigned
• Ensure safe operation of a truck, while driving, loading and unloading.

Drive to customer location for pick up, and position truck safely to ensure a safe lift.

• Daily route consists of driving to customer sites, setting, lifting and emptying bins into front-end vehicle, and returning the bin to the original location.
• Ensure assigned routes are completed in a timely and safe manner.
• Ensure that all protocols are followed while dumping loads at municipal recycling/waste facilities.
• Attending regular safety meetings and tool box meetings, and comply with Urban

Impact’s safe driving procedures and policies

Job Requirements:

• Clean Driver’s Abstract – required with resume
• Experience driving a Front End or Roll off is a huge plus
• 2-3 years of commercial or Class 3 driving experience
• Must have a sound knowledge of Vancouver lower mainland city roadways
• Good verbal and interpersonal communication skills
• Great customer service skills
• Able to demonstrate safe lifting practices of up to 60 lbs
• Full COVID Vaccination
